Myself, Colm Mac Con Iomaire and Cillian and Lorcan from Basciville set up camp in a room in the National Opera House for five days this Spring to record Ghost Voltage, a performance-poetry album due for release this autumn, made possible by a Literature Project Award from the Arts Council of Ireland.

The text of the piece is a sort of requiem/prose-poem for the dead, divided into five parts, mentored and edited by Annemarie Ní Churreáin. The published and audio versions will be augmented by illustrations from artist Mirona Mara, documented in film and photographs by Caolan Barron.
The experience of recording these pieces was a dream. The opportunity to work with talents of this magnitude has been an immense privilege. Stay tuned, more to follow.
